Moringa Plantation and Business Manager

A General Manager vacancy exists within a company that grows and processes Moringa seeds and leaves. The dried leaves are used as a powder in supplements and as tea. The seeds are used to make oil, which is used in the cosmetic industry.

We are looking for an experienced, goal-driven individual, with strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills, who can run the company and further improve and expand the current activities. 

The incumbent will be responsible for the overall management of the plantation and the processing. The company has the ambition to grow the production and sales and is looking to develop additional crops.Furthermore, the incumbent will be required to grow and expand sales and be responsible for the profit and loss account of the business. 

The successful candidate must have the ability to work independently, with knowledge of the industry and key practices and be able to come up with unique new responses to situations and have the insight to recognize and take up useful new approaches. This position is based in Mozambique. The General Manager will report directly to the shareholders.
