AgriBonus is the first benefit programme specifically designed for the farmer and has been in operation since September 1998, first starting out with 6 500 milk producers as members and 5 input providers as partners. Currently the whole of the Agri SA structure is incorporated in AgriBonus, with more than 80 000 active members registered and 56 input providers / businesses as loyalty partners.

How does AgriBonus work

As is the case with other loyalty programmes, AgriBonus members can earn points through purchases from a variety of service partners, all market leaders in their various fields. These points are automatically processed by a computer as and when the members of the AgriBonus scheme makes their purchases. The more points earned by an AgriBonus member, the higher becomes his/her status and the better are the benefits and awards.

AgriBonus tier

AgriBonus has a three tier membership structure, bronze, silver and gold. The more a member uses AgriBonus partners, the higher his or her tier status will be and the more benefits the member will enjoy.

  • Bronze status is attained at registration with the AgriBonus programme or with recording of the first activity
  • Silver status is attained if your frequency of transactions with AgriBonus partners equals or exceeds 60 transactions per calendar year or if you attain a minimum of 100 000 AgriBonus points per calendar year
  • Gold status is attained if your frequency of transactions with AgriBonus partners equals or exceeds 100 transactions per calendar year or if you attain a minimum of 160 000

AgriBonus awards

The most important and exciting part of the AgriBonus programme is the redemption of awards. To qualify for an award, the member must have enough AgriBonus points in his or her account. AgriBonus points can be exchanged for exotic awards or for any product of the participating AgriBonus partners.
